Warren Paving was founded in the early 1950s in Hattiesburg by Charles Warren. Since 1972, the company has been owned and operated by his son, Lawrence W. Warren. Keeping its eyes on the horizon ahead, the company has grown drastically and has expanded its services.

In 1991, they installed a state-of-the-art asphalt plant on the south side of Hattiesburg, where the main facility and corporate offices are now located.

In May of 1998, Warren Paving expanded yet again, opening a location in Gulfport with 19 employees.

In October of 1999, the company acquired the stock of Necaise Construction, causing employment to rise to over 50 employees in Gulfport and 150 employees company-wide.

Warren Paving is synonymous with quality construction, undoubtedly the most important layer of the company. The result of quality is not possible without the intense focus of the workers, including management, quality control technicians, equipment operators, engineers and laborers.

Warren is committed to a high quality of life and a superior working environment for his team. In house training facilities are available at both Hattiesburg and Gulfport locations. These facilities are used for safety training and continuing education in the latest technology available in the asphalt industry. All Warren employees are provided with a comprehensive benefits package.
There are many layers of Warren Paving, Inc. Under the surface, economic development is a layer of the business that cannot be ignored. Warren has done its part to increase the number of jobs in both its Hattiesburg and Gulfport locations, creating strong economic development in the areas.

Community involvement and participation is an important layer to Warren, who has served on the boards of such organizations as the Salvation Army and has served two terms as chairman of Hattiesburg Area Development Partnership. Warren also served as president of the Pine Belt Boys and Girls Club from 1995-1997.

The Warren Team is also very active in the local Chambers of Commerce and Economic Development Committees.

Lawrence & Bonnie WarrenOwner Lawrence Warren believes that his business should be a good corporate neighbor. For years now, Warren and his wife, Bonnie, have contributed time and money to many local organizations and charities.

He and Bonnie are founding members of the Alexis de Touqueville Society, a United Way club consisting of individuals and couples who contribute $10,000 or more annually. Warren has served in many national positions in NAPA (National Asphalt Paving Association), including holding the national chairmanship in 1998.

In operation for nearly half a century, Warren Paving annually produces over half a million tons of asphalt for heavy highway building, airport construction and high tech site work construction.
