Career Construction Fair from 2008
The annual Career Construction Fair is sponsored by MDOT and Kay Atwood with Atwood Fence. The Construction Fairs
allow high school students and jr. college students to see the latest technology in equipment. Each year the Fair is held in several locations throughout MS and provides a very interactive day
for the kids! The students get to operate equipment,
perform several simulation events, and gain hands-on experience. It is awesome.
The next fair is being held at Warren Paving on October 20th and approximately 1,000 kids are expected to attend.

The last day of the safety year is November 30, 2009. Eligible employees who were actively employed as of December 1, 2008 and who have not had any safety violations, will be eligible for the drawing of the new pick-up truck.
