Lawrence Warren assumed leadership of the ADP
Chair position at the 1999 Annual Banquet. Warren officially begins
his new duties in January. He is president and CEO of Warren Paving,
Inc., with offices in Hattiesburg and Gulfport. He is also owner of
Williams Gravel in Poplarville.
Warren has served in various roles for the ADP. He has worked diligently
as a member of the board of directors and executive committee. He has
also served as the treasurer and vice chair.
Warren outlined his vision for the ADP and Greater Hattiesburg Area,
noting that the region has accomplished much in the last 10 years. He
challenged community leaders to "move to the next level" and
stated that he wants the ADP to continue its leadership role in the
region. Warren also encouraged local government, industries and businesses
to work together for the betterment of the region.
"Let us forget our own selfish motives and think about what's best
for all," said Warren. "Let us become the city, county or
area that is the model for the southeastern United States. All signs
point to our area experiencing phenomenal growth over the next 20 years."
